A Life at the Rasa Sentosa Resort In Singapore

Last June 2 to 6, 2008, my husband had an opportunity to go to the wonderful country of Singapore. He was sent by his company for a training with his regional counterparts. His first trip to Singapore was made more memorable by his stay at one of premier resorts in Singapore which is the Rasa Sentosa Resort. The Rasa Sentosa Resort is situated within the Sentosa Island which is one of premier tourist spots in Singapore. Some of the popular tourists spots within the Rasa Sentosa Island is the world famous Underwater World, Palawan beach and the Dolphin Lagoon.

The Rasa Sentosa Resort has some amenities that would definitely make someone's stay indeed worthwhile. Some of these amenities include the beach and several swimming pools. They also provide function rooms, gym facilities and a relaxing spa. They also have several restaurants that would satisfy anyone's taste buds. They serve different types of food from Western to Oriental foods. A single day stay at the resort entitles the tourist for a free breakfast at their restaurant. A single day stay at the resort would cost you around SD 280. What makes the Rasa Sentosa Resort more attracting is that it is just situated beside the Underwaterworld. If you want to explore the beauty of Singapore

It is very easy to get to the Rasa Sentosa Resort. From the airport, you have several options to go to the resort. You can get there using a taxi cab that would cost you around SD25. You dont need to worry about the driver because majority of the drivers are very courteous and they speak in English. You dont need to worry about the taxi meter as well because they provide receipts. You could also use the MRT which would cost you around $5 using the green line and purple line to get to Harbour Front Center. From the Harbour Front Center, you have three options to go the resort. You can ride the cable car, the free shuttle service and the train. The train and the cable car is not advisable because it would cost you a some Singaporean Dollars (SD). It is good though to explore the beauty of Singapore from above (using the cable car). They provide free shuttle service from the Harbour Front Center up to 11:40 pm in the evening. This is advantageous to those who stay out late.

The resort aims to ensure that you would go back to Singapore and stay at their resort. I hope I would be able to join my husband on his next visit to Singapore. Based on his stories, indeed the Rasa Sentosa Resort is one of the best places to stay in Singapore.
